Backpacker Travel is a travel website whose purpose is to entertain and inform readers about different forms of travel styles, experiences, and working abroad. It also offers opinions and reviews of certain travel-specific products and services.

Backpacker Travel does accept certain forms of paid advertising, sponsorship, and affiliate partnerships. This site may also accept free products, services, travel, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from third parties.
We believe in transparency of opinion, association, and source. Any compensation received may impact the advertising content as well as the topics presented on this site. That content will always be clearly identified as paid, sponsored, or partner content.

Backpacker Travel may receive compensation for any deal listed on this site. This compensation can be split into two distinct partnership groups (ie. Backpacker Travel will receive an Affiliate Commission, Paid Listing Fee, or both.
1. Affiliate Commission
Backpacker Travel may receive a small commission when a user makes a purchase through a partner site when clicking an associated link or by using a special discount code. Any cost or associated discount the user receives is not penalized.

2. Paid Listing Fee
If an associated company is unable to offer an affiliate commission, a paid listing fee may be received by Backpacker Travel.
Where possible, Backpacker Travel partners with relevant service providers for each location listed in a Wanderlist. Backpacker Travel receives a listing/insertion fee from any provider listed as ‘OUR BOOKING PARTNER’.
This will not affect the pricing a user pays when booking through the link provided.
Backpacker Travel does its best to ensure a high level of quality control, it is important that users do their own research before making a booking with any provider listed on this site.
