2. Landgoed de Barendonk

If the weather is terrible, you can take shelter inside the onsite bad-weather sitting room where you can take your time to dry clothes, have dinner, and plan your next adventures. 3. Camping Lindenhof

BERN, SWITZERLAND

This place is situated on the vine-covered slopes of Seeland, near Lake Biel. Here you can see the Jura hills opposite. If you are an adventurous person, you will be glad to hear that you can cycle alongside rivers, hike to the Swiss Grand Canyon, or walk through the vines.

Not to mention the site is pretty ecological so that you won’t harm the environment in any way. The farm is being heated using solar energy and wood from its forest. Also, the owners are selling the apples and cherries they have grown in their orchard. So you can eat healthy stuff too!

4. Camping Carso

TRIESTE, ITALY

There are some excellent opportunities for camping in Italy. This place, for example, Camping Carso in Trieste is the perfect place to go on a trip when you want to live a couple of days peacefully.

You can go fruit picking, rock climbing, and enjoy the fantastic views. The farm has been running in the family since 1932, and it is a proud organic fruit and veg farm owning a mix of field and woodland. Here campers can choose their products or even buy supplies. There are also some beautiful things to buy and take home: regional wines, local honey that are a unique taste.

5. Camping Camino de Santiago

BURGOS, SPAIN

What can you do in Camino de Santiago? Well, you can go camping, birding, cycling, pilgrim-watching, and you will never get bored. Its name comes from the 500-mile pilgrim path that goes to Santiago de Compestela in Galicia.

This place is all about taking life comfortable — slow living, slow eating, slow-moving around. If you are looking for a place to rest, reconnect with your inner self, this is the one. 6. Camping Port Massaluca

CATALUNIA, SPAIN

Spain has many camping sites to offer. This is another incredible place where you can go fishing, kayaking, birdwatching without getting bored. You can go down to the Kortinica river, breath the natural fresh air. Also, you get to go kayaking on the Soca river. Perhaps you prefer mountain biking? You can do that in the valleys and hills situated at a small distance. Also, hikers and cyclist will find the right by sight 750-kilometers Alpe-Adria-Trail passes hugely satisfying.

10. Tartaruga Camping

ZAKYNTHOS, GREECE

Tartaruga could almost be an imaginary place that is too good to be true, but it does exist. A full white beach that tempts you to swim and enjoy the seawater or you can watch loggerhead turtles that visit the beach. Also, you can taste delicious Greek cuisine in the restaurants nearby where the food is always fresh.
